The Living Room is a membership-based social space where creative expression is the vehicle for deeper connection.
We believe there are dimensions of human experience that conversation alone cannot access. Art reaches us there.
Through raw creative expression, we begin to see ourselves and one another more clearly.

The Living Room exists to cut through the noise of city life and create the conditions for genuine recognition and belonging.

What we are
Each month, artists and members explore a theme through varying creative forms
and recurring evening gatherings

A printed newspaper arrives at your door, introducing the monthly theme through research, stories, and reflections on life in nyc.

The Gathering Room.
Five artists respond to the theme through their own medium and perspective.(e.g., food, film, music, dance)

The Immersion Room.
One artist opens the evening through creative response to the theme, followed by a speaker who expands the conversation through a deeper intellectual lens. -
The Creation Room.
Members get their hands dirty, exploring the theme through guided artistic creation.
