TAKE A SEAT.
GET CURIOUS.
Why we’re here…
We begin life curious.
Looking closely, asking “why,”
and creating because it makes us feel alive.
Then, somewhere along the way,
we begin to accept instead of question,
consume instead of create.
We say we want a village.
but we don’t know the villagers.
But what if…we got curious again?
Curious about another’s creation:
a business, a song, a design, a meal.
Every act of creation is an invitation that says:
This is what I’ve seen. This is what I’ve felt.
Have you felt it too?
In order to have a village,
we must be curious about the villagers.
Curious enough to examine, question, return.
How we do this…
Creative expression is the way in.
Creation gives form to what we feel
before we know how to name it.
A recipe, a story, a song, an idea.
When we get curious about what moves us,
we recognize ourselves in one another.
That recognition creates communion.
And when we return to it,
that communion becomes community.
Creative expression is the medium.
Communion is the experience.
Community is the result.
